Courtney Smith
Courtney is a Registered Music Therapist with the Australian Music Therapy Association, working in paediatric palliative care and aged care. She holds a Master of Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne and First Class Honours in a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. Her career began in remote northwest Queensland, supporting children and families across diverse communities including Mount Isa, Camooweal, Cloncurry, Dajarra, Doomadgee, and Mornington Island.
Courtney’s approach is person-centred and collaborative, working closely with families and health professionals to provide holistic care. She is dedicated to walking alongside individuals and families through some of life’s most complex moments. Her practice is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to ongoing learning and evidence-informed care.
