Elham Day (MA, PGDip Couns.) is Manager of the Family and Community Support team at Hummingbird House Children’s Hospice. With over two decades combined experience across youth work, counselling, psychotherapy and community deathcare, Elham has supported children and families across diverse contexts, and brings a blended skillset to the interdisciplinary team at HH. In addition to supporting bereaved and grieving families at Hummingbird House since 2016, Elham also has an active interest in community development and public health approaches to hospice care, and supports a number of projects which centre families' voices and lived experience as the basis for continued improvements in care delivery.
